Michael Marchetti to Lead EA Mobile World’s Leading Publisher of Wireless Entertainment Targets Continued Growth

LOS ANGELES  -- Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ:ERTS) today announced that effective April 2, Michael Marchetti will become Senior Vice President and General Manager of EA Mobile™. In his new role, Marchetti will oversee all production, distribution and global strategic initiatives at EA Mobile, and report directly to CEO John Riccitello. Previously, Mr. Marchetti served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of EA Mobile. He joined EA in 2006 with the acquisition of JAMDAT Mobile Inc., where he had served since 2000 as Chief Financial Officer. As part of JAMDAT’s founding executive team, Mr. Marchetti was integral to the company’s dramatic growth, initial public offering and ultimate acquisition.
